Latest technology that was introduced into the automobile sector, ABS is now going to be introduced into the new E8 variant of the Mahindra XYLO. This new technology Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) is provided by Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) in their multi-purpose vehicle XYLO for improving the safety measures in it.
Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) improves vehicle stability by preventing the wheels from locking when brakes are applied on any skid-prone surface such as snow, water, loose gravel, or oil. ABS also enables the driver of the vehicle to be in control during extreme braking, since wheel-lock will not be one of the side-effects.
Along with some features in Mahindra XYLO such as Flat Bed front seats, Digital Drive Assist System (DDAS), foldable flight trays, reverse park assist and surround cool dual ACs, now the technique of ABS too will be introduced in the new E8 Variant of XYLO. This new top end E8 version of the XYLO is going to be available at a price of Rs 8,18,535 (ex-showroom, Delhi). These vehicles will be available at all Mahindra dealerships by the end of June 2009.
Mahindra group are planning to introduce this technology of ABS in other variants too in the future.
